TEASER

Excellent for toning the stomach and gives flexibility to the spine.
I don't know where the name comes from but I suspect 'Teaser' is because it is one of the harder Pilates exercises and therefore you know you have good abdominal muscles if you can do it. There are a few variations in working up to the full Teaser, Half Teaser 1 and Half Teaser 2 and within the full Teaser itself you can vary your arm positions to make it easier or harder.
